About Us

Tim's Shoe Centre Ltd was established on April 1st 1977 by Tim Kelly as a specialist comfort retailer. Tim still leads the company today. In 2012 the Shoe Republik brand was created to serve the online marketplace and in 2013 the Shoe Republik e-commerce site was established. In 2017 the company was wholly re-branded as Shoe Republik.

Our company motto has always been to put customers and their needs first and we strive to continue this belief both in-store and online. We only stock quality footwear, made from the finest leathers and materials and sourced from all over the world. We don't believe you should ever compromise the comfort and quality that you put on your feet. After all, you are on your feet all day, every day. Wearing the correct footwear will lead to better posture, healthier feet and can be the difference between avoiding back, hip and knee pains, not to mention general fatigue. We are also proud to be the longest serving children's shoe fitters in Limerick. We provide an excellent in-store fitting service by trained fitters, ensuring your child receives the correct size, width and anatomic fit.
